Candy!

We went on a field trip with Frank and Sean to Kettles and Company in Yonkers to pick out a setup for our ALL PERCUSSION CONCERT! That place is heaven! It took us a while to decide what we wanted to use but we have our wish list and are starting to write our percussion loops.

Of course I'm going to use the Giovanni Hidalgo congas. Guess what Jakub's choices were?

Our First Road Trip/Bowdoin International Music Festival

Our trip to Brunswick, Maine should have taken only 6 hours according to Mapquest. Three traffic jams, one torrential rainstorm, two "scenic detours," and nine hours later we arrived ready to begin a week of rehearsals for Blind Ear's performance at the Bowdoin International Music Festival! Since it was our first road trip I thought it might be fun to document our journey here (sorry Jakub!)
